In the past 10 years, the ISSA/INTERCLEAN® Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) exhibition has firmly cemented its position as one of the “must attend” events in the cleaning and hygiene industry’s calendar—and the only event that draws in the key buyers and users from across this rapidly developing region.
With the fifth edition of the biennial show being staged in Warsaw, Poland, May 18-20, 2011, there is an inescapable feeling that now, more than ever, this is an event being held in the right place at the right time–and for all the right reasons!
Standards of cleaning professionalism, performance, and productivity in the area have undeniably soared in recent years under the championship of ISSA and the Polish Cleaning Chamber of Commerce (PIGC). In addition, the joint-hosting of the Euro 2012 Soccer Tournament in Poland and the Ukraine–and the resultant massive boom in construction of new and refurbished stadia, travel terminals, hospitality, and leisure facilities—will be a clear catalyst for accelerating economic growth. It will also present further opportunities for manufacturers and service companies.
To capitalize on this growth, ISSA/INTERCLEAN CEE, with its audience of highly qualified visitors, is a low-risk and very affordable route to reach potential buyers in Poland and surrounding countries, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia, the Baltic states, Romania, and the Ukraine. Records from previous events also show that many of the visitors are distributors or dealers who are attending the show with the specific intention of opening up new relationships with manufacturers keen to enter, or expand their interests, in Central and Eastern Europe.
Learning Abounds
The event also offers a matchless program of seminar sessions, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities to help both exhibitors and visitors create a context for the products and services seen on the show-floor and providing an invaluable transfer of knowledge. The conference program will be organized by ISSA, the PICG, and the Polish Employers’ Association. On the first morning, one program track will focus on the need for proper cleanliness in hospitals and be specifically targeted at informing and educating the Polish nursing and health care sector. It will include presentations from the Polish Health Ministry, a leading international cleaning company, a global catering company, and the president of the laundry section of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. The Polish Association of Epidemiological Nurses will also contribute, and after the conference the entire health care fraternity will visit the exhibition.
Another interesting session will be entitled Designing, Furnishing, and Maintaining Cleaning-Friendly Buildings, with a strong attendance from architects expected. Running concurrently with to these two sessions will be seminars for a Polish audience on cleaning issues during the Euro 2012 Soccer Tournament, with special emphasis on cleaning trains.
Whatever your role or involvement in the cleaning industry, whatever your interest in Central and Eastern Europe, there is a wealth of reasons why you cannot miss this event.
