November 9, 2009 — Ecolab, Inc. has appointed Victoria J. Reich to its board of directors. Reich is the senior vice president and chief financial officer of United Stationers, Inc. Prior to joining United Stationers in 2007, she served in international operating and financial-management roles with Brunswick Corp. and General Electric Co.

Reich's appointment increases the size of Ecolab's board from 11 members to 12.
