September 3, 2010 — Amrep Inc., a producer of maintenance chemicals for the janitorial, MRO, and automotive markets, completed its deal to purchase The Waterbury Companies, Inc., a producer of air-care delivery systems and products for facility maintenance, for US$66 million in cash yesterday, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Amrep will add Waterbury’s TimeMist, TimeWick, Microbemax and Touch Less Control brands to its existing brand portfolio, which includes Misty, Next Dimension and I-Chem.
Terms of the deal were first announced in July.
