- Cintas States Sustainability Savings
April 20, 2012 — Cintas Corp. revealed its 2011 sustainability achievements in recognition of Earth Day (April 22).
Last year, Cintas eliminated more than 15 million 16.9-ounce plastic bottles from the waste stream by utilizing recycled polyester fiber in the production of its eco-apparel. Additionally, the company’s document shredding services recycled more than 330,000 tons of paper, resulting in a total savings of approximately 8.5 million trees.
