June 7, 2012 — G&K Services has launched a pilot program to test hybrid electric trucks in its Northern California delivery fleet.
G&K obtained the hybrid vehicles through California’s Hybrid Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project, reports American Laundry News. The company will work closely with state officials to analyze the performance of these vehicles and assess the technology for broader use.
