P&G to Build Plant in Nigeria

June 29, 2012 — Procter & Gamble, parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, has announced plans to build a US$250 million manufacturing facility in Nigeria.

The company already has acquired 40 hectares of land in Ogun State, Nigeria, for the plant. Once completed, the facility will employ 750 people directly and create job opportunities for about 300 small- and medium-scale entrepreneurs, reports The Daily Times Nigeria.
