July 2, 2012 — Preferred Building Services, Inc. has merged with Facility Supply Group (FSG) and Eastern Janitorial Services to form a new company, Preferred Service Group LLC (PSG).
As part of the merger, the three companies create a new organization designed to provide cleaning and maintenance solutions for government, small business, and corporate clients. Preferred Building Services and Eastern Janitorial will continue to operate independently, while PSG will service FSG’s customer base going forward.
Preferred Building Services, which currently is certified to the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard-Green Building (CIMS-GB) designation, will aid PSG in helping its clients and their facilities comply with the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design—or LEED—requirements.
