July 12, 2012 — ISSA will host a series of webinars on the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals revisions to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazard Communication Standard.
This series of webinars is designed specifically to help formulators understand and comply with the revisions to the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard that were made to align OSHA requirements with those of the GHS. The webinars will cover physical and health hazards, classification of mixtures, and safety data sheets and labels. The first webinar in the series, “Introduction to HazCom Standard 2012,” takes place August 8 at 3:00 p.m. EST. ISSA members receive a special discount when registering for the webinar series.
