- Grainger Releases 2nd-Quarter Results

July 19, 2012 — W.W. Grainger, Inc. reported second-quarter revenues of US$2.25 billion, up 12 percent year-on-year.
The company reported a quarterly profit of $190.7 million, or $2.63 per share, up from $169.9 million, or $2.34 per share a year ago, according to MarketWatch.com. Grainger’s U.S. sales, which account for the majority of the company’s total revenue, rose 7 percent, driven by a 4 percent volume growth.
