- UGL Assists National Geographic With LEED Recertification

August 7, 2012 — UGL Services has been recognized by the National Geographic Society for assisting in the organization’s recent U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) recertification of its headquarters facility
UGL Services was responsible for contributing eight green cleaning credits out of the 59 LEED credits required for the most recent recertification of National Geographic’s facilities in Washington, DC. UGL Services has supported National Geographic since 1998, and has been active in its sustainability efforts by monitoring and reporting green cleaning performance.
