August 21, 2012 — The demand for janitorial equipment and supplies in the United States is expected to grow 2.2 percent per year to US$6.7 billion in 2015, according to a new study from industry market research firm The Freedonia Group, Inc.
The new study, “Janitorial Equipment & Supplies to 2015,” attributes the increase to companies replacing current janitorial products with updated goods designed to improve ergonomics and worker efficiency, reports FM Link. Additionally, the report found that manual cleaning products are expected to see the fastest gains of any major product segment over the next three years.
