SCA Increases Ownership in Chinese Tissue Company

April 11, 2012 — SCA has acquired an additional 5 percent of the shares in Chinese tissue company Vinda.

SCA purchased the shares from Fu An, a company majority owned by the current chairman of Vinda. The purchase price for these additional shares was reported to be approximately US$88 million. SCA’s share in Vinda after the transaction will be 22.6 percent.
