Ecolab Supports Permanent Trade Relations With Russia

June 14, 2012 — Ecolab, Inc. issued a statement supporting the introduction of bipartisan legislation in the U.S. Senate to establish permanent normal trade relations with Russia.

Ecolab’s statement requests the Senate repeal the Jackson-Vanik amendment to the Trade Act of 1974, reports MarketWatch.com. Russia is set to join the World Trade Organization later this year, and Ecolab states that legislation would assist U.S. companies in competing with other global companies.
