Toilet Paper Revitalizes New Hampshire Paper Mills

February 21, 2012 — Paper mills in New Hampshire are experiencing a rebirth thanks to toilet paper, reports The Wall Street Journal.

As the demand for newspaper declined over the last decade, many paper mills in New Hampshire were forced to reduce staff or close completely. The steadily rising demand for toilet paper is causing a boom for these paper mills now, with some mills running three shifts to keep up with demand.
