July 5, 2012 — Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG has filed a lawsuit citing unfair competition against Chinese cleaning-product manufacturer Wenzhou Haib.
In a suit filed in the district court of Guangzhou, China, Kärcher alleges that Wenzhou Haib has produced unauthorized copies of its compact commercial high pressure cleaners, reports The European Cleaning Journal. Kärcher accuses the Chinese manufacturer of copying its design and exploiting its brand recognition.
