3M Lawsuit Halts Sale of Fraudulent PPE
3M has resolved a case in federal court in Indiana against ZeroAqua.
According to the lawsuit, ZeroAqua used 3M’s name to promise the sale of nonexistent N95 respirators to emergency officials in Indiana in an attempt to profiteer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The claims against ZeroAqua were resolved through the entry of a conent judgment, a court-entered permanent injunction, and a payment to 3M for donation to a COVID-19-related charity.
