3M Donates Supplies to Schools Serving Diverse Populations

September 15, 2021 3M Donates Supplies to Schools Serving Diverse Populations

3M is providing backpacks filled with school supplies to 17,000 public school students in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Through its Supplies for Schools program, 3M donates products such as office supplies, hand sanitizer, tapes, glues, adhesives, highlighters, masks, and sponges. The supplies will go to students in schools serving low income and diverse populations through a partnership with the Kids in Need foundation.

3M plants also are teaming up with nonprofit organizations to provide locally needed school supplies this year. 3M plants in Monrovia, California, recently collected six barrels of school items working together with Foothill Unity Center. A 3M plant in Austin, Texas, will be collecting polo shirts required as a uniform for a local public school throughout September.
