3M Raises 4th-Quarter Sales

3M has reported fiscal-fourth-quarter sales of US$8.6 billion, up 5.8% year-on-year.
Sales in the company’s health care division climbed 5.4% to $2.3 billion and its consumer division saw a 10.6% jump in sales to $1.4 billion. 3M’s safety and industrial division reported sales of $3.1 billion, an increase of 12.7% while sales in the company’s transportation and electronics division rose 2.3% to $2.3 billion.
