3M Reports October Sales Increase

3M reported its October sales increased 3% year-on-year to US$2.9 billion.

For the month, 3M saw sales in its health care division climb 12%, while its safety and industrial division reported a 4% increase. Sales in 3M’s consumer division rose 7% and the company’s transportation and electronics division reported a 4% decline. Geographically, sales were up 2% in both the EMEA and America’s region while 3M’s Asia-Pacific segment posted a 3% increase.
