APPA Releases New Standard for Facility Cost Assessment
January 30, 2018APPA has released a new standard for detailing the total cost of ownership (TCO) principles in built environments.
The standard, APPA 1000-1, defines the elements required to implement TCO principles in a facility. APPA 1000-1 was developed to help building owners and facility managers understand the entire cost of purchasing, owning, and maintaining a building throughout its lifecycle.
