Apply for An OSHA Worker Safety Training Grant

Universities, associations, and other nonprofits that employ vulnerable staff, such as temporary workers or those who have limited English, are eligible to apply for safety training grants from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

A total of US$10.5 million is available through three Susan Harwood Training Grants:

  • Targeted Topic Training grants support the development of training and education that focus on identifying and preventing workplace hazards.

  • Training and Educational Materials Development grants support the creation of classroom-ready educational materials.

  • Capacity Building grants support organizations in developing plans for conducting occupational safety and health training programs.

Grant applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, September 2, 2018.
