Aramark Adds Chief Diversity and Sustainability Officer

Aramark has appointed Ashwani Hanson to the newly created position of chief diversity and sustainability officer.
Hanson currently serves as senior vice president of human resources for Aramark’s U.S. food and facilities segment. She joined Aramark in 2002 and was named one of the Top 15 Diversity Champions in 2019 by Diversity Global. In her new position, Hanson will lead Aramark’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and oversee the strategy and governance of Aramark’s 2025 sustainability plan.
In a related move, Aramark also announced the company has formed an executive diversity council, led by CEO John Zillmer and Calvin Darden, a member of the company’s board of directors.
