Aramark HQ Achieves LEED Certification

November 3, 2020 Aramark HQ Achieves LEED Certification

Aramark announced that its global headquarters has achieved Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) green building program.

Aramark’s Philadelphia office building was certified under the LEED for Interior Design and Construction (LEED ID+C) rating system, which encourages the design and construction of environmentally conscious commercial interiors. The company’s headquarters includes features such as Energy Star-certified appliances, water-saving restroom fixtures, and energy-efficient lighting.

“Our goal in designing our new home was to ‘future-proof’ the workplace by integrating sustainable design elements to create an open environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, wellness, and community,” said Marc S. Liciardello, Aramark Vice President of Corporate Services. “While our employees may be working remotely, due to the pandemic, the forward-looking design sustains remote work productivity as we look forward to their eventual return.”
