Aramark Locks up Deal With Denver Jails

Aramark has been awarded a US$9 million contract with the Denver County Sheriff’s Department.
The two-year deal calls for Aramark to manage and supervise all aspects of food service in the Denver County Jail and Denver’s downtown detention center, The Denver Post reports. Aramark expects to provide daily meals to more than 1,300 inmates. The company currently services more than 400 jails, prisons, and detention facilities nationwide, delivering meals to over 300,000 inmates a day.
