Aramark Supports Reentry Program

August 27, 2020 Aramark Supports Reentry Program

Aramark has announced a three-year grant program with the Urban League of Philadelphia (ULP).

The ULP will earmark Aramark’s grant to support formerly incarcerated individuals through a new reentry program entitled Out4Good.  ULP’s initiative aims to help individuals transition back into their communities by providing skill development, workforce readiness, and job placement assistance.

“We believe strongly that reentry programs are critical to reforming the criminal justice system and addressing its disproportionate impact on Black and brown communities,” said Ash Hanson, Aramark chief diversity and sustainability officer. “We are very encouraged by the initial results of the Out4Good program and its potential to change lives by establishing a direct pathway to rehabilitation.”
