British Parliament Praises Role of Cleaning Industry

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson and Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn praised the extraordinary role of cleaners in the face of the coronavirus crisis.

The two political leaders were taking part in Prime Minister’s Questions during yesterday’s session of the British Parliament when Corbyn “praised the unsung heroes of the public sector who keep us safe during the outbreak,” European Cleaning Journal reports. Prime Minister Johnson replied to Corbyn’s endorsement by stating “I agree with him very much about what he said about cleaners, they do an extraordinary job and they deserve all the protection and support we can give them in this difficult time.”
