Bunzl Assists Canadian Government in Coronavirus Prevention
March 2, 2020Bunzl Plc, parent company of Bunzl Processor Division, announced its Canadian division has been assisting the Canadian government with limiting the spread of SARS-CoV-2.
Bunzl has provided additional protective masks, disinfectant liquids, and wipes to Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Trenton in Quinte West, Ontario. Bunzl also arranged to loan an electrostatic disinfecting system to the military base, which has been used to house quarantined Canadian citizens suspected of being infected with the COVID-19 virus.
“Our support to customers in maintaining healthy, productive facilities is focused on providing the right products, state-of-the-art technology, and best practices in cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting,” said John Howlett, president of Bunzl Canada. “We’re proud to assist Canadian Border Services Agency in their efforts to maintain the highest levels of cleaning and hygiene.”
