Cintas Increases 1st-Quarter Revenue

Cintas Corp. has reported a fiscal first-quarter operating income of US$394.1 million, a 12.7% year-over-year increase.

Cintas posted a quarterly revenue of $1.9 billion, up 8.6% from last year’s first-quarter revenue of $1.75 billion. Sales in Cintas’ uniform rental and facility services division, the company’s largest top-line contributor, increased 8.2%, while sales in the company’s first aid and safety services climbed 10.4%   compared to the previous year.
