CIRI Names John Downey Executive Director
March 29, 2018The Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI) has appointed John Downey executive director.
Downey has extensive experience in publishing and writing for the cleaning industry. He is the founder of Cleanfax magazine and has worked on developing a peer-review journal for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification (IICRC).

CIRI’s mission is to raise awareness about the importance of cleaning through scientific research. Its goal is to expand on existing research, help its members to be more effective, improve people’s understanding about the importance of cleaning, and influence the development of public policy.
