CMI Names First-Ever Trainer of the Decade

September 7, 2018 CMI Names First-Ever Trainer of the Decade

ISSA has named its first-ever Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) Trainer of the Decade—Marion Ivey. Ivey will receive the honor at the ISSA Show North America 2018 in Dallas, TX, during a special presentation on November 1, in the Education Theater.

“Marion has worked with CMI for close to 30 years,” said Brant Insero, director of education, training, and certification for ISSA. “He has traveled the world to instruct programs and has touched thousands of professionals. Marion is the most requested trainer from our customers and has the highest amount of positive feedback.”

Ivey is proud to be a CMI trainer and has enjoyed seeing progress in the cleaning industry. “When I started my teaching career, never in my wildest imagination could I ever have predicted how today’s industry would evolve,” Ivey said. “I have observed technological advancement in equipment, materials, and supplies. This technology has also created a need for changing basic and advanced work procedures used to clean building surfaces.”
