CMM Benchmarking Survey Finds Health and Safety Top Facility Managers’ Concerns

A new CMM survey shows “health and safety” continues to be the most important issue to facility managers and in-house service providers.
When asked to rank issues that were important to their facilities and operations, 81% responded that health and safety was important “to a large extent” in the 2021 CMM In-House /Facility Management Benchmarking Survey. This was up from 76% in 2020 and the same in 2019.
Other issues that ranked in the top five most important issues behind health and safety were improving facility image (74%), improving productivity/efficiencies (71%), security (64%), and asset preservation (56%). This year training/education slipped out of the top five, narrowly, at 55%.
