Compass Group Wins Award for Facility Management Achievement
December 30, 2020Compass Group won its first International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) Excellence award.
Compass Group’s corporate facilities management division—the Eurest Services division—received the George Graves Award for Facility Management Achievement presented by IFMA
The award recognizes an individual or team whose facility management program or idea has had a positive effect on the success of their organization from May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020. The Eurest Services division implemented an employee engagement app as a key initiative in “client retention and growth strategy for a global Oil and Gas client, with a portfolio totaling US$35 million in annual revenue.”
This app initiative also helped in communications with the company’s 4,000 employees. Achievements resulting from this app included:
- Safety incidents reduced by 28%
- Hourly employee retention improved by 7.3%
- Overall favorability of the company increased 23%
- Annual enrollment of the benefits program increased 5%.
“There is a lot of time and talent required from the team for this app to be successful,” said David Hogland, Eurest Services’ president. “I believe it’s the best investment we have ever made, and this industry recognition reinforces that belief.”
