Countdown to Clean Buildings Expo 2019 Debut

March 19, 2019

ISSA has joined forces with Trade Press Media Group to bring you Clean Buildings Expo (CBE), a new trade show for the commercial cleaning and facility management industries. Today marks one week until the opening of the inaugural Clean Buildings Expo, which will take place March 26–27, 2019, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland.

Attendance is free to all facility professionals, and includes access to the exhibit floor, more than 20 educational seminars, and access to National Facility Management & Technology’s NFMT 2019 Conference, co-located at the Baltimore Convention Center.

“ISSA and Trade Press recognized a need for professional resources to serve the commercial cleaning industry on the Eastern Seaboard,” said Kim Althoff, ISSA Vice President of Sales, Trade Shows, and Publications. “The solution was a carefully curated conference and expo featuring seminars, exhibits, and networking for this niche segment of facility management.”

The two-day event features more than 20 complimentary sessions in three distinct educational tracks: Staffing & Management, Cleaning Operations, and Trends & Technologies. “Conference attendees can follow one track, or mix and match seminars that interest them,” Althoff stated.

In addition to the free sessions, attendees have the option of signing up for two preconvention certification workshops, which will take place Monday, March 25 (ISSA CIMS Certification Expert or NORMI IAQ Mold Certification), and one postconvention certification workshop that will take place Thursday, March 28 (CMI Accredited Auditing Professional).

“Those who attend and pass the NORMI Mold workshop on Thursday can earn continuing-education units (CEUs) from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC),” said Doug Hoffman, NORMI CEO.

In addition to the many educational opportunities, CBE’s show floor will showcase dozens of the cleaning industry’s latest and most innovative products and services. “Expo floor hours and seminar hours were deliberately scheduled so they would not overlap,” Althoff said. “This will enable the attendees to maximize time spent at the expo and ensure greater visibility for the exhibitors.”

More details about CBE are available at cleanbuildingsexpo.com. “Please visit ISSA at Booth 125 to learn about all things ISSA from experts who can relate our tools to your business,” Althoff said. “Come by sooner rather than later. We have some gifts for attendees, while the supplies last.”
