Dow Details Closing of DuPont Merger

Dow Chemical Co. announced that all required regulatory approvals and clearances have been met for its merger of equals with DuPont.
The transaction will close after the closing of markets on August 31. The merger, which was announced in December 2015, will create a new company known as DowDuPont. Shares of DowDuPont will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol DWDP on September 1.
