Dow Honored by Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

Dow recently received two awards from the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) as part of the organization’s SHPE Technical Achievement and Recognition (STAR) award program.

Dr. Julibeth Martinez de la Hoz, a research scientist with Dow, was named a recipient of the Young Investigator Award. SHPE’s Young Investigator Award recognizes young professionals for their contributions that help the progress of research in the fields of science and engineering.

In addition to recognizing Dr. Martinez de la Hoz, SHPE presented Dow’s Hispanic & Latin Network (HLN) with its Hispanic Employee Resource Group of the Year Award. Dow’s HLN has a long-standing relationship with SHPE and is an active participant in its partnership council.
