Dow Hosts Tree Planting Event

Dow Chemical Co. recently hosted a tree planting event in Montegut, Louisiana.

The event marked the start of a reforestation collaboration between Dow and Restore the Earth Foundation Inc, developed under Dow’s Official Carbon Partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Dow and Reforest the Earth will work together to plant more than 200 acres of seedlings in the Point-aux-Chenes Wildlife Management Area. The project is anticipated to generate 40,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions reductions over a 40-year period, contributing toward Dow’s partnership with the IOC.
