Dow Names New Executive VP

Dow Chemical Co. has appointed John Sampson senior vice president of operations, manufacturing, and engineering, effective October 1.

Sampson joins Dow from Olin Corp., where he served as executive vice president of business operations. Prior to joining Olin in 2015, Sampson had a long tenure at Dow, beginning in 1983 when he started in polymer research and development. He succeeds Peter Holicki, who will retire in 2021 after more than 34 years of service with Dow.
