Ecolab 1st-Quarter Revenue Rises 10%

Ecolab, Inc. has an adjusted first-quarter revenue of US$3.4 billion, an increase of 10 percent from one year earlier.
Ecolab’s profit dipped 3 percent from one year ago to $247 million, or $0.84 per share. Sales in the company’s global institutional division were up 9 percent to $1.2 billion while its global industrial division increased sales 5 percent to $1.1 billion.
