November 3, 2021 Ecolab Facility Achieves Gold LEED Recertification

Ecolab Inc. announced that its campus in Naperville, Illinois, has achieved Gold recertification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) green building program.

The suburban Chicago property serves as the headquarters of Ecolab’s Nalco Water division and includes more than 700,000 square feet of office and laboratory space. The 76-acre Naperville campus originally received LEED Gold certification in 2010 and recertified in 2015.

“LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement and leadership,” said Darrell Brown, Ecolab executive vice president. “We are proud to receive this recognition for our ongoing commitment to sustainability in our own facilities, just as we are proud to help our customers operate sustainably in theirs.”
