Ecolab Finalizes Purchase of Livestock Hygiene Solutions Provider

Ecolab Inc. has successfully completed its purchase of livestock biosecurity and hygiene solutions provider CID Lines.
Ecolab announced the purchase of the Ypres, Belgium-based provider of cleaning, disinfectant, and hygiene solutions earlier this year. CID Lines serves more than 300,000 farms in over 100 countries. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced.
“By leveraging our combined strengths and expertise, we will help develop and expand the hygiene solutions for the future of the food industry,” said Nick Alfano, Ecolab executive vice president.
