Ecolab Finalizes Sale of Holchem Group

Ecolab Inc. has successfully completed the divestment of its Holchem Group Ltd. segment to biosecurity and food safety firm Kersia.
Ecolab originally acquired Holchem in December 2018 but was subject to clearance by the United Kingdom’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). The CMA ruled against Ecolab’s original purchase but has since approved the sale to Kersia. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
