Ecolab Partners With Microsoft

Ecolab, Inc. has partnered with Microsoft Corp. and risk management firm Trucost to release a water-risk assessment dashboard.
The publically available tool—The Water Risk Monetizer—analyzes local water basin data and economic information to provide business with financial modeling based on current and predicted water risks, Environmental Leader reports.
“The impacts of water scarcity on business are complex and far reaching,” said Christophe Beck, executive vice president and president of Ecolab’s Nalco Water division. “Successful business leaders will drive water strategies that go beyond simply using less to reuse and recycling.”
