EPA Awards $300,000 for Green Chemistry Research
April 6, 2017The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded US$300,000 to Industrial Microbes, Inc.
The Emeryville, CA, research firm will utilize the funds to support new environmental technologies. Industrial Microbes plans to develop a microbe that will use carbon dioxide and methane waste to manufacture biodegradable plastics and synthetic fibers.
