Essity Purchases ABIGO Medical

Essity has agreed to acquire the remaining shares of ABIGO Medical AB. 

Last year, Essity had purchased a 75% stake in the Swedish medical solutions company. Per the terms of the acquisition, ABIGO will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Essity as part of the company’s medical solutions’ segment. The transaction is set to be finalized in May 2021.
