Georgia-Pacific Donates to North Carolina Fire Department
January 16, 2020Georgia-Pacific LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, has donated US$8,000 to the Agriculture Center Volunteer Fire Department in Bessemer City, North Carolina.
The donation is part of Georgia-Pacific’s Bucket Brigade™ program, which contributes to fire departments in communities with Georgia-Pacific facilities. The program has contributed more than $2.75 million to more than 290 fire departments since its inception in 2006. The volunteer fire department will use the donation to purchase new personal protective equipment, reports The Gaston Gazette.
