Georgia-Pacific Donates to United Way
November 7, 2019Georgia-Pacific LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, recently donated 144,000 spools of toilet paper to the United Way of the Adirondack Region.
Georgia-Pacific’s mill in Plattsburgh, New York, manufactures more than 15,000 cases of toilet paper per day. The United Way will distribute Georgia-Pacific’s donation to area shelters and treatment centers, Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports.
“Georgia-Pacific has been the largest supporter of the United Way of the Adirondack Region for as long as I can remember,” said John Bernardi, United Way CEO. “Not just financially, but in volunteering time and product. They’re a tremendous community partner.”
