Georgia-Pacific to Expand South Carolina Factory
February 4, 2020Georgia-Pacific LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, announced plans to invest more than US$145 million in its Darlington, South Carolina, facility.
The South Carolina plant produces a variety of paper products for the company’s Dixie brand. The upgrade project will modernize and expand the facility’s infrastructure and production capabilities, AreaDevelopment reports. Georgia-Pacific anticipates the project, which also includes a new warehouse, will be completed by early 2022.
