Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities signature program that provides the Gift of Clean for all cancer patients, is taking part in the global generosity movement, GivingTuesdayNow, on May 5, as an emergency response to those in need due to the coronavirus pandemic. Cleaning for a Reason partners with residential cleaning companies to provide free services to those who require a healthy home the most: cancer patients. “Now more than ever, we need your support to continue providing the Gift of Clean for all cancer patients as they shelter in place,” said Debbie Sardone, Founder, Cleaning for a Reason. “GivingTuesdayNow is an opportunity to secure donations and form partnerships with residential cleaners to expand our reach and meet the increasing demand for our services. Nationally recognized as a charity in the U.S. and Canada, Cleaning for a Reason has partnered with over 1,200 residential cleaning companies, cleaned the homes of over 40,000 cancer patients, and donated cleaning services valued at US$14 million. Donations to Cleaning for a Reason allows the nonprofit to provide free cleanings to patients battling any type of cancer.
