GOJO Expands Hand Sanitizer Production

June 10, 2020 GOJO Expands Hand Sanitizer Production

GOJO Industries has announced the addition of two new facilities, both in northeast Ohio.

GOJO has purchased a manufacturing plant in Maple Heights, Ohio, for $US25 million, Cleveland.com reports. The facility will be used almost exclusively for production of the company’s Purell brand hand sanitizer, which has seen a spike in demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, GOJO has agreed to lease a property in Navarre, Ohio. The Navarre facility will serve as a warehouse and distribution center for GOJO’s hand sanitizer products. Once fully operational, the two facilities will allow GOJO to hire more than 200 new employees.
