Grainger Announces Departure of Online President

W.W. Grainger Inc. announced that David Rawlinson, senior vice president and president of the company’s online division, will leave the company to pursue other opportunities effective February 1.
Rawlinson, who joined Grainger in 2012, is departing the company to serve as CEO of Nielsen’s newly formed Nielsen Global Connect business.
“We congratulate David on his opportunity and wish him well in his future endeavors,” said DG Macpherson, Grainger’s chairman and CEO. “The online portfolio has strong leadership and a talented team that is driving solid performance. We are working through our succession plan and expect to make an announcement shortly.”
